Whether you’re preparing for an expedition, already in the mountains, or coordinating a remote ascent, our Expedition Doctor can provide expert guidance and care — either in person or through real-time tele-support. From pre-expedition screening and acclimatisation planning to in-field medical assistance and emergency coordination, we’re here to help you perform safely and confidently wherever your journey takes you.

This session allows clients to speak directly with a qualified medical professional to discuss their medical history, current health status, and any specific concerns relating to altitude exposure, heat, or endurance training.

Designed for professionals working at altitude (e.g., mining, construction, scientific research, military, or expedition guides). This assessment conducted by our High Altitude Medical Doctor provides formal medical clearance confirming fitness to operate safely in hypoxic environments.
Available components:
Initial Consultation & Medical Questionnaire – Comprehensive review of medical history, medications, and relevant risk factors.
Blood works – Including full blood count, iron studies, renal function, and other relevant biomarkers.
Spirometry – Assessment of lung function and respiratory capacity.
Blood Pressure – Test for hypertension and hypotension.
Resting ECG – Screening for cardiac abnormalities or contraindications to altitude exposure.
Chest X-Ray – (optional, as clinically indicated).
Simulated Altitude Testing – Includes passive, active, and cognitive assessments of response to high altitude under exercise stress.
Clients will receive a written report confirming whether they are “Fit for Work at Altitude”, including any recommendations for further investigation or precautions.
