Performance Specialist

Amber Taylor

Amber has always had a passion for health and fitness and loved representing clubs at different levels in many sports. As she grew older, she focused more seriously on tennis, netball and football, eventually dedicating herself fully to tennis. More recently, she has delved into padel where she has loved developing her racket knowledge and skills. Outside of her tennis training and playing matches for her club, Amber found joy in running to enhance her performance and develop her fitness off court. Over time, running became more than just supplementary training and has grown to become a central part of her life. Driven by a desire to challenge herself, Amber decided to run her first half marathon in Bath where she studies Sport and Exercise Science at University. Since then, she has completed two and is currently preparing to take on her first marathon in Budapest. With big aspirations for her running future, she hopes the Budapest marathon will be the first of many, in the hope to explore new cities around the world to combine her love for both running and traveling. Her next challenge is her biggest yet: a 50km ultra marathon in the Peak District this coming September. In October, Amber is excited to climb Kilimanjaro, using The Altitude Centre to get her acclimatized and prepped for the adventure. Amber is keen to continue using her scientific knowledge to boost training for her running and tennis, setting goals and challenges along the way whilst helping other accomplish theirs.
