Stop guessing. Start fuelling smarter.

Science has moved beyond one-size-fits-all approaches, so why are you stuck with generic sports fuelling advice? Your body is unique, and your fuelling strategy should be too. If you take in more carbohydrate than your body can process, the excess stays in your gut. This can lead to painful digestive side effects like bloating, stomach cramps, nausea, or diarrhoea, and ultimately, reduced performance.

On the flip side, if you take in too little, you risk running out of energy in training or towards the end of a race, falling short of your personal best or goal.

ExoAnalytics’ cutting-edge testing service reveals your body's unique ability to process and utilise carbohydrates during exercise. We provide the data you need to create a truly personalised fuelling strategy that will:

● Maximise Performance: Know exactly how much carbohydrate your working muscles can use for energy.

● Minimise Digestive Issues: Eliminate the guesswork and the discomfort that can come from over-consuming carbs, especially in a longer event or training session.

● Help You Hit Your Goals: Fuel your body optimally to avoid running out of energy late in the race and to be ready to train consistently across a block.

The test involves running at an easy pace on a treadmill, with a short section wearing a metabolic mask (approx. 10mins). We will also collect some breath samples from you before and after.

The whole test should take approximately 120 minutes.

Developed by researchers, exercise physiologists, and performance nutritionists, the test measures the process by which your body absorbs and utilises consumed carbohydrates. Using this number, we are able to provide you with guidance on how many grams of carbohydrate you should consume per hour, how this is impacted by different durations of exercise, and other factors that might affect this.

Traditionally restricted to the elite, we are making this accessible to every endurance athlete, no matter their level.

Without testing, there is no way to know your individual capacity. Stop relying on outdated averages and start fueling based on your body’s science.
