England will be reaching new heights in their bid to win the 2013 World Cup.

Never slow to embrace new techniques and tap into the most modern sports science at their Loughborough University base, head coach Steve McNamara and his backroom staff are to take the national elite training squad to a high altitude training camp later this year.

They will spend 10 days at high altitude at the end of the domestic season as a dry run for their preparations for the World Cup in 18 months’ time.
