The Altitude Centre installed UK andĀ Ireland’sĀ first ever Altitude House. Each room can be independently controlled up to altitudes of 5000m, within 30 minutes.

IRISH OLYMPIANS as well as athletes from other nations will be making tracks in the new year to the National Altitude Training Centre (NATC) which was recently opened at the University of Limerick (UL) campus.

This is the first residential facility of its kind in Ireland and Britain. The training centre offers athletes and other sports people the opportunity to live at altitudes similar to most altitude training resorts and even higher whilst being able to train at sea-level, more commonly termed Live High-Train Low (LHTL).
