148km, 2,115m altitude and covering the most fearsome roads in Europe: It can only be the L’Étape du Tour.

Riders in the most popular sportive in the world ascend to just 16 per cent oxygen over 17km (average 7.3 per cent gradient) as they summit the Col du Tourmalet from Sainte Marie de Campan.

Providing riders an unforgettable pro experience, we’ve already got some serious Étape riders training with us, both in our chamber in Trump Street, and using our rental systems at home.

With four months to go, training with The Altitude Centre will ensure you’re at the peak of physical condition, ready to tackle the ascent of both the Col du Tourmalet, and Hautacam (13.6km at 7.8 per cent gradient peaking at 1,520m above sea level and 17.2 per cent oxygen).

Kick off your preparations with an Sport Consultation, and get a taste of the action with our ‘Sufferfest’ classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6.15-7.15pm. Book here.
