In May last year, 500 cyclists rode 50 miles in support of the Ellis Harriet Clark Foundation, raising a massive £80,000 for two cancer charities along the way.

Originally planned as a one-off fundraiser for Ellis, who lost her battle with bone cancer shortly after her 16th birthday in 2008, the 50-mile ride in 2013 was a huge success.

Now back for 2014, join the ride around the picturesque villages of Hertfordshire. With a good balance of open flats and gentle hills, this is a perfect route for all abilities. The ride includes three official fuel stops (not including the numerous pubs passed along the way).

Those with a more competitive edge can test their power on the timed hill-climb challenge, and tick off a long-distance training session whilst raising money for the Teenage Cancer Trust and the Skeletal Cancer Action Trust.

After the ride, join the team to celebrate Ellis’s memory with drinks and food, where all friends and family are welcome.
